About us
gruenki is a green AI from the Westerwald – an assistant for chat, research and documents. The idea behind it is simple: a genuinely helpful AI assistant that keeps your data in Germany and stays honest instead of making things up.
What we stand for
- 🇩🇪 Data sovereignty: Your content is processed and stored in Germany. The AI language model runs on our own hardware in the Westerwald – not in some distant US cloud. Your conversations are never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models.
- 🌱 Sustainability: The AI runs on our own hardware, and the rest of the service in a German data centre – both powered by renewable energy.
- 🤝 Honesty: gruenki would rather say "I don't know" than invent an answer. The assistant backs up specific figures, laws or facts with verifiable sources rather than guesswork – and it can still make mistakes, so important information (for example legal or tax matters) should always be checked with the relevant authority.
Who's behind it
gruenki is an independent service by Marius Erdmann (kontiTec) from the Westerwald – not a big corporation, but a self-reliant provider with one ambition: to combine good technology with privacy and sustainability. You'll find the full details in our legal notice.
The same quality on every plan
Free or paid: the quality of the assistant is identical across every plan. The only difference is how much you can use it. That way you can try gruenki out at your own pace before deciding to do more.
